At Home Centered Leadership and Thought Evolution LLC, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data.

 

This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have in relation to your data.

 

1. What Information We Collect
We may collect and process the following types of personal data:

  • First name

  • Email address

  • Phone number (for optional appointment reminders or client communication)

  • Information you voluntarily provide through forms, contact requests, or when becoming a coaching client

We do not collect sensitive data unless you explicitly choose to share it with us.

We use your data for the following purposes:

  • To deliver requested resources such as lead magnets, quizzes, videos, guides, or downloads

  • To send newsletters (typically weekly, and more frequently during launches or event promotions), marketing updates, or service offers (only with your explicit consent)

  • To respond to inquiries submitted via contact forms

  • To send appointment confirmations, reminders, and follow-ups

  • To conduct virtual sessions using Zoom, including follow-up communication and scheduling

  • To fulfill contracts if you become a client

  • To provide in-person workshops or speaking engagements if applicable

  • To improve our website and offerings using basic analytics tools

  • ​To collaborate with internal team members, including Barbara L. Neufeld, her coaching partner Tom Neufeld, and additional support staff, when necessary. These team members may review client files or participate in co-coaching or supervision when appropriate. Case reviews are held in strict confidence and personal identifiers are omitted whenever possible

 

3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
Depending on the situation, we process your data under:

  • Consent: When you opt-in to receive free resources or email updates

  • Contract: When you become a client and we require your data to provide services

  • Legitimate Interest: When we use cookies or site analytics to improve user experience (in a way that does not override your privacy rights)

We store your data using secure third-party platforms, including:

  • Google (for document delivery)

  • Wix (for website forms)

  • MailerLite (for newsletters and automation)

  • Zoom (for coaching sessions)

We use appropriate security measures, including password protection, platform-level encryption, and access restrictions, to safeguard your information.

We may update or add platforms as needed. Any new service providers will be held to the same data protection standards.

Terms & Conditions

Services Offered

Home Centered Leadership provides individual coaching, couples coaching, group coaching, and workshops, both secular and faith-based. Coaching sessions are conducted virtually via Zoom unless otherwise arranged for in-person events or workshops.

Discovery Calls (also called strategy or clarity calls)

A one-time, complimentary discovery call is available for prospective clients to determine fit. This call does not constitute a coaching session and does not establish a client-coach relationship.

Coaching Session scheduling, Cancellations & Rescheduling

Clients must provide at least 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule a session. If you arrive more than 5 minutes late to your scheduled session, it may be forfeited or billed at the full rate. In the rare event that your coach is late or must cancel on short notice, you will be given the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.

Event & Workshop Cancellations
Cancellation and refund policies for events, workshops, and group programs will vary by event and will be clearly outlined in the event registration details. By registering for an event, you agree to the specific terms provided at the time of sign-up. If no additional terms are presented, the following default applies:

  • Cancellations requested more than 7 days before the event will receive a full refund.

  • Cancellations within 7 days of the event are non-refundable, but you may request credit toward a future offering, subject to availability and approval.

  • If we must cancel or reschedule the event, you will be offered the choice of a full refund or transfer to a future session.

Team Collaboration
Sessions and services may be provided by Barbara L. Neufeld or Tom Neufeld. Occasionally, we may collaborate or co-facilitate coaching as a team. or invite a guest coach. Select sessions may be reviewed by a supervisor or professional support team to improve service quality, with all identifying information kept confidential.

Guest Facilitators
From time to time, Home Centered Leadership may invite trusted guest coaches or speakers to lead or co-facilitate a session, workshop, or group experience. We ensure all guest facilitators align with our values and approach, and we maintain high standards of professionalism and confidentiality.

Digital Delivery
Some services and lead magnets may include videos and downloadable materials delivered via email, shared Google links, or third-party platforms.

Medical Disclaimer
Our services are not a substitute for medical, psychological, or psychiatric care. Coaching supports emotional wellness and relational growth, but does not diagnose, treat, or provide medical or mental health care.

 

Clients are responsible for seeking licensed medical or mental health support as needed. Clients who are currently under the care of a licensed mental health professional are encouraged to inform both their provider and the coach. Coaching is not a substitute for therapy or medical treatment, and our services work best when integrated responsibly into an overall support plan.

 

Limitation of Liability
By using our services, you agree that any legal action, dispute, or claim arising from coaching services shall not exceed the amount you paid for those services. You further agree to indemnify and hold harmless Home Centered Leadership and Thought Evolution LLC against any claims arising out of your participation.

These terms are governed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, USA.
